Checking in from my phone

So we moved yet again. My poor blog has been neglected due to the moves but sadly so much more has been neglected as well. The good part I have an iPhone and there is a blogger app. so I may be able to keep up more. WooHoo now let's see if this works. I wish I could download apps to fix the other neglected areas of my life but until then one issue down and many more to follow.

Five Question Friday

I thought that this looked like to much fun so I decided to link up with fivecrookedhalos.blogspot.com and other's for Five Question Friday!

1. Is there something you've always wanted to try but just can't muster up the courage to actually do yet?
Go on a roller coaster a big one, I have been on small one's and I get freaked out and I dont think I would like a big roller coaster but I want to go on one just to say I have.

2. If you had $100 handed to you in cash without your significant other knowing about it, what would you spend it on?
Probably going out to eat. I love to eat and food is my favorite, but then again I may spend it on some shoes or a new bag, not that I need it just to enjoy the money.

3. What was your favorite piece of playground equipment as a child?
The swing, which now make me sick. Go figure

4. Do you prefer a sweet or hearty breakfast?
Neither I am not a breakfast person. When I do eat breakfast it is usually out because we are on a trip and then the breakfast is hashbrowns and bacon with coffee.

5. Are you a Neat Freak or a Messy Bessy?

Total neat freak, I dont like mess it literally sends me over the deep end. My kids know dont keep a mess unless you want to hear it, I feel bad but mess seriously makes me insane.

Missing my blog and facebook friends

So first blogspot would only let me comment but not post. Figure's who knows if it was blogspot or my computer but either way it wouldnt work so I got frustrated and gave up. I also realized I spend way to much time on the computer and with summer coming up that needs to stop. I love facebook and blogspot and all of my friends but I also love my family.

Hubby and I have not been spending much time together due to his schedule, who knew that a daytime schedule was just as rough as a night time schedule.

Big Girl has been flipping out lately and I dont know what is going on with her. She did get an award in school yesterday for being a good citizen, I was proud but also just sat stumped. How is she such a good citizen at school and made such a huge impact and yet at home she continually keeps me on my toes.

The new puppy refuses to potty train and I am sure my landlords are going to love us once we move and the move the carpet. Not that I care because quite honestly this carpet it horrible and they need to replace it desperately. Nobody should have to live with this carpet. I do care that he wont train as we are planning vacations and both people we are visiting have brand new carpet and he will not be allowed out of his crate much if he keeps leaving surprises.

Big Boy, well he started swimming and is doing well. He can move about the water without his swimmies and this was my child deathly afraid of the water so this is an awesome step. He has been acting out and I dont know if it is to "compete" with Big Girl for attention or if it is just him being himself.

I decided when the kids are home and in the house with me I am trying to stay off the computer. I dont pay much mind to them while on and honestly I suck at multi tasking with a computer. Plain and simple, if the laptop is on my lap then I am in my zone. I can not do that any longer. I do leave to cook dinner and such but what fun are my kids having watching me use my computer. So I am trying to take a break so to speak. Summer is coming up and I want to make meal plans and summer plans with my kids so summer runs smoothly. Now dont get me wrong I will be forcing my children outside at leas an hour a day o go play and get out of my hair because let's be real summer break can drive a parent insane especially when we dont ahve something to do daily and the money to do it. Yes people I understand things are free but let's be real how many of you actually go to something free and spend no money? If you have some idea's please let me know because everything cost's money whether it is the gas to get there or the item you may forget or something while you are out. It cost's money and some days we just dont have it. So any free idea's please send them my way because I need some ideas.

So that has been our life and our home. Tons of fun.

Oh yeah and to top that off Hubby and I have been sleeping horribly. The wind can wak me up I am sleeping so lightly and I cant fall asleep at a normal hour no matter how hard I try. It stinks especially when everyone else is sleeping around me. But yeah that is life and this is my break.

Florida is the beachiest

I just have to say, being able to go to the beach and just enjoy a day there with white sand and water that I can see through to the floor is very very nice, and not anything that we ever had in NY. I dont like sand but I can begin to enjoy the Florida beaches. We packed up and headed out, we forgot our beach umbrella and were able to turn around and go home and get it. You know why, because we live that close to the beach. It is so nice. I think I could actually venture to the beach this summer and have some fun with the kids. Oh did I also mention that the water is warm, like nice warm ot piss warm and it was nice to be in it. I keep hearing from friends oh you will be back a true New Yorker always comes back to New York. Well guess what I am not a true New Yorker because I never want to leave these pretty beaches. For those of you thinking well did she tan, oh yes I did. We all got some nice color and guess what I tanned properly, with SPF30 because I do not want to wear a leather coat as skin when I am older. I am learning. So how was your Saturday? Mine was just so nice I had no choice but to share.

My children learn best from OTHER'S?

So does anyone else have that issue with their children? I have been trying to teach my son to swim and yet he continues to resist. So yesterday we started swim lessons. Amazing he wants to learn from someone else. It honestly bother's me because they are teaching him something I could teach him for free but he will hopefully learn and I wont have to pay again. Does anyone else have children who learn best from other's? I ask because I know so many people that homeschool and it amazes me because my son wont even learn how to swim with my instruction so how could I be his daily school teacher, along with swim and all of his other daily needs.

Other then swim lessons other things have been well, Hubby and I have been doing wonderfully and the next thing to work on is intimicy. I dont know how I am going to work on that one. You would think it is simple but yet it is not so we shall see the steps that we can do to become intimate yet again. No I am not only speaking of  the bedroom but also other imtimate things. Conversations and just being able to love one another. There are so many ways to be intimate. I know one thing most men think is intimate but I want other intimacy as well. I definitely have issues there. We joke and say Big Boy broke me because since him I have had intimacy issues. I guess this is the next chapter in our lives. I will try to share some of our growth but you know not all intimate things are PG and I want this to blog to be in case family should ever happen upon it.

Chewy (the new pup) has adjusted well into the family. Next step with him is potty training, needless to say he is quite the stubborn one. I hope to be able to get him trained soon, I do not enjoy pee and poop on my floor at all.

As for life all has been well. I definitely need to get into a better schedule and quickly. I have been enjoying way late nights and even later mornings that seem to turn into late afternoon wakings. Not fun, I am still keeping home well and am enjoying our nice clean house, but the schedule is getting off. now with summer coming up I dont want to sleep in all day, till 9 or so would be nice but all day would be a complete waste. Besides now that I will be 30 in 32 days I have decided I want to be more adult and do the adult things in life. I definitely want to go back to school in my 30th year of life and hopefully I can continue to acheive my goal of becoming a career woman. Only problem is, I want a career based around my kids, so I am starting to wonder if going back to cosmetology is the right plan. I am definitely going to go back to get my license because I dont liek that I started it and yet again did not finish, but I am thinking that working with children is my calling. So yet again we shall see where the next chapter in my life brings me. I must admit I am enjoying being a stay at home Mom so much and wish I never had to fully go back to work. Why cant stay at home Mom's make a paycheck? (And if anyone has the answer fill me in).

NY came to Florida

Yesterday we had a blast, we went to Orlando and saw some friends at a resort where they are staying. The kids had a blast playing with our friends family and their children. It was a lot of fun. I keep saying friends but honestly they are more like family. it is my best friends brother and his fiance, and their two children. It was awesome getting to see them and it was weird all at the same time. We neevr hung out alone in NY because when we got together my best friend was always their as it was family gatherings. See I told you just like family. Yesterday it was just us and it was awesome, we stayed by the pool all day. Big Girl had a bit of an attitude as she wanted to do more, that girl always wants to be on the go and can never just be happy in the moment. I enjoyed myself and Big Boy had a blast, he learned how to swim, or so he says. I think he may have been touching the ground but whatever he did it and when he starts swim class this coming Tuesday he should skip right ahead of the levels since he can now swim with his head under the water. Of course Big Girl was less then thrilled that her younger brother could swim under the water and she could not, so I am sure we will be having a few fueds over this one. By the pool they had food service, ah how nice, Pina Colada's and sun. A lethal mix especially for me, I caught a huge headache by 4:30 and we had to leave. Worked out well as we came home and the kids got to bed at a decent hour for school today but it stunk  as we wished to spend more time their. I passed out in the car on the ride home and then came home and passed out soon after the kids. Hubby is still sleeping over 15 hours later so I assume he needed to get caught up as well. It was an extremely long day in an extremely short amount of time. It was also a blast though and I loved seeing our NY friends here in Florida. I hope eventually someone will come see us though because although I love going to see other people, I want other's to just come near us and enjoy some time seeing where we are living and all. I also think the kids would enjoy showing their room's to their friends family. Let's be real anyone willing to travel from NY to Florida just to see us must be considered family, because most of our friends from NY will pobably neevr see us again.
