MHR- Friday

My husband rocks because he is always thinking of ways to improve for our family. Last night he came home from work and I was half asleep. He came in and our conversation sounded like this...

Him: Hi!
Me: Hey hun what's up
Him: Know what I was thinking
Me: That you love me
Him: No besides that
Me: Well what?
Him: I was thinking I want to go back to school....
Me: For what
Him: Culinary
Me: Oh OK (wow that was harsh what a wonderful wife, I guess I should have been a bit more enthused as I said that), for what exactly cooking, to be a chef?? For baking??? You will still work nights as a chef and such
Him: Baking, then I can work early in the morning and open my own bakery
Me: Oh OK (there it goes again)
Him: Only bad thing is between working and going to school I will sacrifice seeing you guys a lot.
Me: That's gonna stink...

Well then I thought about it and we discussed it more this morning and he has since told me he wants to go in September. Since in April I will be graduating school (god willing) I am hoping to get a job immediately and if I can I am also hoping to be making good money. So I made a suggestion of Steve possibly working part time and me working full time and him going to school and then we will all be able to see each other every so often. Wow what a year 2008 has been me going back to school and Steve's revelation to go to school. But see this is exactly why my husband rocks. He knows in order to get out of the job he is in with this rough economy the only way to do so is to go back to school. Now the thing is he hates school but he loves baking so I am hopeful that Steve's plan can go through and he can go back to school and be the wonderful man that he wants to be. As he already is a wonderful husband and father.
