Merry Christmas

Christmas Eve was an emtoional night. It was not the normal Christmas with all the presents that are normally thrown around and you know what.... It truly was an amazing Christmas Eve. I really had so much fun and it really made the kids appreciate what they got (thank goodness because Grandma sure knows how to spoil them) and they got to enjoy their family and not worry about presents all night. It was a rough day as Big Girl is still adjusting to her meds but all in all it was anabsolutely amazing night. Sadly I was seeing red for most of the day as AF came for a visit. Merry Christmas and Bah Humbug to you AF. Oh well pats of life right. Despite my pain I had an amazing night. The kids got their DSI's as did their cousin's and they all got to open their gifts of DSI's together and they all loved it. I really loved it as well, it made it so special. Right now DH just went out to get last minute stocking stuffers and I wanted to say Merry Christmas to everyone. I hope you are having as great of a holiday as we are. Remember it truly isn't about the gifts but the season and the meaning behind it for me (other than the religious mumbo jumbo) is family and I love having the family I have. Even the in-laws but shhhhh dont tell Hubby I dont want to get him to excited.
