Whirlwind Day

Within the past 36 hours I have found out that I am not the parent of a bi-polar child but in fact and ADHD, ODD child. I have also put her on medicine for it. It all happened so quickly and no I did not just medicate my child. I have been looking up ADHD since Big Girl is about 4 maybe 5 since I personally self diagnosed her then. But now it has been confirmed that Mama does in fact know best. Today has been one of those days though. We had a lash out, then a perfect child, then a couple of time outs and melt downs. Then we went to a friends for her husbands birthday. Wowwee was that fun. The kids were great till it was time to go. We come home and try to get them to bed at a decent hour assuming that it is them being tired and that is why the major meltdowns but no, Big Girl is wired till 10:30 tonight when she finally crasked AGHHHHH!!! Pretty soon I am crashing I just wanted to inform you all or maybe even just remind myself that days like today go away and get better.
